Eco-Construction In efforts to stay "Green", The Green Shirt has taken every measure to use organic and environmentally friendly construction processes and products. We have partnered with the following locally owned and operated companies to meet our construction needs
Organic Art & Furniture Designs designed and constructed our two half kidney benches and our kidney shaped desk.
The furniture was constructed using reclaimed rotary cut maple in order maximize the amount of wood taken from each tree.
We have partnered with a local eco-friendly paint store New Era Paints for our painting needs. New Era Paints offers zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paint with zero VOC pigment that contain no harmful solvents or ingredients known to contribute to greenhouse gases or cause serious illnesses such as cancer, birth defects or other reproductive toxins. Founders Colin and Sheena spent countless hours refurbishing and painting the facility, re-finishing the terrazzo floors and constructing the conveyor system in efforts to keep capital costs down and take pride our new business venture.
